Input Roller Turns Backwards – Fargo DTC550

Fargo DTC550 input roller turning the wrong way is caused by one of the following:

1. Your printer has a mag encoder but the setting was turned off

2. Your printer does not have a mag encoder but the setting was turned on

Take the following steps to resolve:

Press the menu button on the front panel of the printer

Scroll down and select encoder settings

Turn the mag encoder on or off to resolve the issue
