Take the following steps if your Fargo DTC550 is displaying a Hopper Empty Error:
Ensure that you have cards properly loaded and the card weight on top of the cards
Reboot the printer
Close the hopper door
Calibrate the Hopper sensor through the printer’s front panel:
Press the Menu Button
Scroll down to Set Up Printer and press select
Use the down arrow to scroll down to sensor calibration
Press select and then scroll down to Cal Hopper Sensor. Press select.
